Recent Deaths

Sadly as we all know, bodybuilding takes a big tool on athletes body when it comes to professional level. But first let's talk about the father. Joe Weider was the co-founder of IFBB (International Federation of Bdybuilders) and father of bodybuilding worldwide. He made bodybuilding and fitness industry what it is today. Thanks to him there is Mr. Olympia and several other competitions related to it.
At the age of 93 on March 23. 2013 Joe Weider died of heart failure in his home. It's a terrible moment for all bodybuilders as well as fans because it's like a death of Jesus in Catholic Religion
Here is a small memorial for him:

But that's not all! 3 days before Joe Weider, a bodybuilding legend and my personal favourite bodybuilder Nasser El Sonbaty - who was also my idol, died from now unknown reasons at age of 48. That's another terrible lose, he was known as a bodybuilder who had over 300lbs with 6 pack abs stiscking out of his belly. Also he was known for his famous glasses he always had, even on guest posing. They were round and they looked funny for the times on such a big guy :D Still I made another memorial for him too, loved him as a fan and always will! He was also known for internet name GH15, on a forum where he talked openly about drug abuse in bodybuilding and what people take to get on stages like him. In a few words - the dark side of bodybuilding and fitness.

RIP both bodybuilding icons, you deserved it!

New horizons

So, it has been some time since I made a last serious post of what's-going-on. So here I'm... Things started to change, I have to finish the school and do the big finalls in june, which will take a lot of time. Things will get harder.
Anyways I'm fully decided I'm going to compete this year! The competition will be IFBB Open. I'm going into bodybuilding category because that's where I see myself in. I could win Athletic physique but I want a bigger challange and I LOVE bodybuilding not fitness. Here is the poster of competition I'm joining.
It doesn't matter what placing I get, all it matters is experience! It will be hosted in Maribor (Slovenia) and as I said it's IFBB Open, anyone can join - no limits. Because I'm a newcomer I'll also be into Newcommers category along with Junior bodybuilding.
In my opinion this is a very good step towards success, will take lots of hard work but I can't wait to start cutting for it!
Here is a little update on what happened to my upper pec and front shoulder.
See the red lines? I've got some serious stretch marks near armpits on both sides, more on the right one, only 1 little scar on left one. I'm already using some gel called Remescar for stretch marks and I hope it works :S
Even upper bicep, right arm has a crack.

About my training:
I started training in HIT style. That means very high intensity, very low volume and very short workouts. I'm into that for 2 weeks and results in strength are incredible. For example I did 5x100kg decline bench press in 1st week, in 2nd I did 8 reps almost alone! So yeah it was worth a try and I love the training style - I like it intense.I don't recomend it to newbies or someone who hadn't train for atleast 1-1.5 year. It's a risk of injurie and when you are on your working set to failure, not everyone can push it so far, you really have to concentrate and push it to the limit on every working set.
I forgot to tell that in HIT way of training, you have 1 working set per exercise. You do about 1-2 wormup sets with low-moderate weight then you go and grab a really heavy weight and try to push for 6-8 reps - till failure.
I love lifting heavy so this is a perfect way for me to train - heavy duty!
My diet is still messed up. I try to take in 5 eggs daily, atleast 250g of cottage chesse, some meat and I load on peanut butter - my apetite is still f*cked up.
That's all for now! Stay tuned for more - will post more frequently from now on!

Eat clean, train mean, be a machine!

Deadlift Achievment

Like a week and a half ago I said to people I will make a vid of deadlifting 180kg. I even tryed 190kg(425lbs) after i lifted 180kg(400lbs) just for fun :D My deadlifts and bench presses were always amazing for my bodyweight but my squats were really bad. So I decided to make one last powerlifting action on deadlift and record it. Here is the video:

Here it is :) Feels like an achievment but anyways I have to go on. Having some hard times atm, physicaly and psyhicaly, short on time and I'm tired of school - anyways trying my best to keep up with progress which doesn't show very well. Had little to none progress for few months now :,(
